Good Monday Friends!  This past weekend we celebrated Paul's 23rd birthday.  We did nothing too fancy, dinner with his family, then back to our apartment for cake, and then out to our favorite bar with friends.  Sunday we had dinner with my family to celebrate with one of Paul's favorite meals (if you guess stuffed shells from this post , yes you get bonus points)  Once again, Paul requested a funfetti cake.  So I whipped one out from scratch (seriously people, leave the boxed cakes out of this fight, from scratch will always knock them out), as well as a snickerdoodle cake just in cake someone had a more advanced pallet.  Back here I shared my super simple way to turn any batter into a funfetti cake, check it out.  Now lets blow this post up with some pretties from my kitchen this weekend.

This was the first time I got to use the cake stand we received as a wedding gift!  See that cake loaded with sprinkles...
