Wedding Veil to Christmas Decor?

For the life of me, I don't have a good picture of the details of my wedding veil.  But, my aunt lent me the comb she used at her wedding in her hair, so it was my something borrowed.  My mom attached some tulle to the comb and we put it in my a hair, simple as that.  Post wedding my mom took the two apart and gave her the comb back, and me a pile of tulle.  

This year I am trying to not spend much money on Christmas decor (I do need a tree skirt and am thinking of DIYing some pillows...).  But, since it is our first Christmas as newlyweds I want to add some of our wedding into our Christmas decor.  Then I came upon these tulle poms  at once wed.  What a perfect way to use that pile of tulle! 

I have a few more ideas on how incorporate wedding aspects into Christmas keepsakes!  Hopefully I will get more of my ideas done and posted this week!  My tree is no where near done. 1,210 lights later and I will be decorating it all week.  I plan to share it soon too!
