Sort of "after"

I don't want to call this a true before and after post, because we are not exactly done in here yet, but the bathroom has come to its resting place for now.  We are going to get a new toilet one day, and I think I am going to add navy blue fabric to the bottom of the shower curtain and hang the whole thing higher, I'm still on the hunt for a basket I like to hold extra TP on top of the toilet , and we need some towels still,

BUT

  I think we can all agree this bathroom has made some big progress.  I'll blog about the last few updates as the happen, but honestly when I walk in the bathroom now I feel great about what we accomplished so far.  This was a room of firsts for us - we did drywall work, plumbing, built shelves, built our counter top from scratch, and my Dad built new cabinet doors just to name a few of the big things we did.  I'm not going to go into specifics on any of these projects because chances are we will be doing them all again very soon and I'll blog the whole thing the second time around.  If anyone does have any specific questions I'd be happy to guide you to tutorials we used or share our thoughts!

So what do you think?  Do you like our bathroom redo?  Would you paint your cabinet navy blue?  I'd love to hear your thoughts!
